Molded from paper-based materials, specifically sugarcane or bamboo pulp.
Rover and its pods are plant-based and compostable. They are both at-home compostable however the pods being paper-based are easier to compost for a novice. Rover on the other hand is rigid and will require a proper composting environment that can be maintained at between 50 and 60 degrees C (122 and 140 degrees F) for the best results at home. Alternatively, any industrial composting facility can handle these products.
Only for thicker products such as balm-like creams and deodorant sticks. Empty pods will be made available to other skincare brands so they can sell their products in an eco-friendly container. Please let your favorite brand know.
Also, these empty pods can be sold directly to consumers if there is a high demand for them. Alternatively, you can buy a prefilled pod with our Rove deodorant and when emptied, you can clean and reuse the pod instead of composting it.
Yes for some gels, oils, and lotions; but for water-like liquids, we are working on an add-on to prevent leaks.
The lotion needs to flow like a gel, if it is stationary, it wonโt work well inside any roll-on device.

The button can be pushed to immobilize the roller to prevent waste or overapplication. This also helps when using the roller as a massager and to aid with lymphatic drainage.
It is an add-on for DIYers who make their own skincare, so they can easily fill the Rover or an empty pod with their concoction.
Rover can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher. For machine washing, it is preferred to use cold water.
Avoid using Rover on wet parts of the body so as to not transfer moisture inside the device.
